
Housing
Each participant will receive a stipend according to the duration of the Seminar or Institute. The stipend for this three-week institute is $2,850. The stipend is intended to help cover travel, housing, meals, and basic academic expenses. Stipends are taxable.
All participants are responsible for arranging their own housing in Richmond, Virginia. We have outlined one option available to participants below, conveniently located at The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU.) It is not mandatory for participants to stay on the VCU campus.
Gladding Residence Center
Completely renovated and updated in 2018, Gladding Residence Center is one of VCU’s newest and most modern residence housing complexes. Gladding Residence Center offers both four-person semi-suites and traditional double bedrooms.

4-person semi-suites have one bathroom with one tub/shower and one toilet. Each bedroom features 2 sinks.
Traditional style rooms have access to 2 hall bathrooms per floor furnished with multiple vanities and sinks, and private showers and toilets.
